Sabina Boyd, known professionally as Madame Boyd, was the main business rival of Marie L'Angelle and Jesse's ex-girlfriend.

Biography[]

Early life[]

In her teenage years, she dated Jesse Custer. Their relationship was going well until Jesse, fearing what might happen to Sabina if Gran'ma found out about their relationship, broke things off by insulting and humiliating her. Furious, her brother went to the Tombs to confront Jesse and even tried to kill him, only to be killed by Jesse in self-defense. Since that day, Sabina has hated Jesse with a passion, calling him the worst person she ever loved.[1]

Kidnapping[]

Tulip went to see her undercover in order to find out how to break the blood oath that bounded Jesse to repay his debt to Madame L'Angelle. Sabina, however, already knew who Tulip was and attempted to capture her, only to be kidnapped by Tulip instead. Eventually, Sabina revealed that the only way to free Jesse from his blood oath was to kill his Gran'ma, conveniently neglecting to mention Tulip would also die in such a scenario.

Robbing and death[]

Unaware that her scheme failed, Sabina met Jesse in a bar to offer her condolences, with Jesse even managing to extract a kiss from her. Unbeknownst to her, the seduction was a ploy to obtain her saliva so Jesse and Tulip could get into her safety deposit box and steal the souls under her possession. Whilst the robbery was taking place, Jody was sent on a secret mission by Madame L'Angele to eliminate the Boyd gang and abduct Sabina. As punishment for trying to kill her, Gran'ma had Sabina's soul extracted while Jesse was knocked unconscious. When the deed was done, Marie planned to put her in the Tombs, but before anything could come of it Sabina was fatally shot by Jesse out of mercy, as a person is nothing without their soul.
